NITRAL 10 - Aluminium Drossing and Degassing Tablets Electric Melting Furnace If you want your mouldsAn absolute must for casting aluminium. NITRAL 10 produces nitrogen gas to flush the metal of both solid and gaseous inclusions, reducing risks of metal porosity and weakening defects in a finished casting. A tablet (or part of) is plunged into the metal using a "plunging tool" and held at the bottom of the crucible until bubbling ceases. The solid dross and slag is carefully skimmed off and discarded. Used in combination with COVERAL ECO 2532, a very
